Looking East

Looking East is a rising surf reggae band from Santa Barbara, California, blending laid-back coastal vibes with dynamic reggae-rock energy. In just a year, they’ve amassed over 15,000 average monthly listeners and achieved over a quarter million combined streams in advance of their forthcoming debut LP ‘Break of Day.’  

With a sound influenced by icons such as Stick Figure and The Dirty Heads, their music resonates with top audiences in Denver, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Rooted in experience, members of Looking East previously toured North America in alternative projects, playing for reggae legend Matisyahu and touring alongside the likes of Iya Terra, Iration, The Movement, DENM, The Elovators, and Eric Rachmany of Rebelution, bringing seasoned artistry to their fresh, vibrant sound.
